Momentum For Monday, June 3rd 2024

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.  That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

The sufficiency of grace is not for those who play it safe. It's not for those that never admit fault. It's not for the ones that are self-sufficient. 

Grace is for those who put themselves out there. It's for those giving their best with flaws and all. It's for the ones that know exactly how much in need they are of Christ. Grace is for the ones that will make mistakes endlessly and keep getting back up because of Jesus.

 Like Paul, you will experience the weaknesses, insults, hardships, and so on. Do not let these experiences rattle you. Keep going.

Whatever your struggle, whatever ails you, whatever you cannot escape, trust in the grace of God to empower you where you are. God will give you the grace not to break. The grace not to fold under pressure. The grace to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Whatever or wherever you find yourself in the middle of, you can handle it because He gives ample grace.  

You, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
