“Is anything too hard for God?” (Genesis 18:14a)
This may be an obvious answer, but really this is a loaded question. We may find it quite easy for God to be at work on a different person or situation, but often when it comes to us, then in walks our doubts and limitations.
Think of every aspect in your current situation. With everything on the cusp or with everything that has happened that we didn't see coming, is anything too hard for Him? Even further, do we invite HIm in and ask for Him to do it?
We may say no, but do we live that answer out? Do we trust that whatever we face or will face that it's not out of His hands? Do we really have faith that He will lead and comfort us in the surmounting difficulties?
Lately, as deadlines loom more and pressures keep coming, declare this verse to yourself. Don’t speak it as a question, but instead, as a fact- NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD. Then follow it up with a short prayer asking for help to believe it and let Him work.
This week, read over the entire story of Abraham if you can find time. Whatever confronts you, remind yourself that nothing is too hard for God. Partner with God and ask Him to help you as often as you need. May you experience the sustaining power of God in places that seem the most challenging and hopeless.
"Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you"
(Jeremiah 32:17)
