“By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.” (Hebrews 11:3)

You should have questions. Your faith should challenge you to think differently. It will take faith to grow in your thinking. And Scripture mentions that faith is part of understanding. This is not a guilt trip about your relationship with God, but to encourage you to bring all doubts and curiosities to the table.

Faith isn’t about emotion. We don’t just love God with all our hearts in our devotion to Him. Faith isn’t just about pouring our hearts out to God, although people like David are known for that in Scripture and that’s a good thing to do since we are to love God with all our hearts. But faith is also intellectual.

God commanded you to worship him with all your mind. Questioning is part of love. It's part of discovery and the learning of knowing God. If you bring it all before God wholeheartedly, your beliefs will not shrink in the questioning, but grow.

Paul encouraged Christian’s to renew their thinking in a couple of his Epistles. Part of transforming your mind and renewing your thinking is wrestling with questions. Transformation requires your understanding of God, Scripture, and people to often undergo change. This is growth and maturity on Christianity.

I've had many questions to God over the years.  If I didn't get an answer, I at least received peace about not knowing. Part of wrestling these things out with God brings intimacy with Him. Church sermons, books, and theology are wonderful resources, but they may not answer your questions completely because the God you have questions about is too big to fit inside what those limited resources can provide. Don’t be afraid to go deeper or all in with God. He’s big enough to handle it.

“Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’”

(Jeremiah 33:3)
