“It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood…” (Hebrews 11:7a)
Can you imagine the amount of faith it took Noah to build the boat? Or the amount of trust he had in God when he had no understanding of what a flood was? It had never rained before.
Or consider Abraham's situation. Can you imagine the amount of trust he had in God to resurrect his son when he placed him on the altar? Chronologically, Scripture had never encountered or recorded a resurrection yet, but he was still believing for God to bring his son back from the dead. (Hebrews 11:19).
What if God is asking for you to believe for something you've never seen? Do you trust God beyond what you can understand or grasp? There's nothing wrong with gaining experience from the past, but if you want to experience all that God has in store, then you can't live on experience alone.
There could be a "new" or "never before" thing that God has in mind for you. Sit and listen this week to what could be possible.
“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
(Ephesians 3:20)
